Starfish Christian Trust: Street children

Three New Wells in Indian Villages

Once again it has been a privilege for Starfish Christian Trust to be able to finance the drilling of fresh water wells in three villages in which the Christian population has been persecuted by Hindu militants.

This is not an uncommon situation. The majority of Christians in the villages have converted from Hinduism. The Hindu population deny these converts the use of freshwater in the hope that they will newly convert back to Hinduism. Consequently they are forced to gather dirty water which brings in many cases disease and death

Whilst the actions of denying water are intended to reduce the Christian population in the villages the reverse often happens as the clean water is made available to all the village. This act of Christian love has seen many give their lives in surrender to the Lord Jesus
