Palm Sunday in Pakistan (Mar21)

In the Western nations, the celebrations around the Easter Festival have generally become so commercialised and watered down that it has been virtually reduced to another holiday with the original meaning being lost. The triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem is probably an unknown story to the greater majority.

Not so in Pakistan, where the Christian Church is persecuted. Easter is a time of great celebration (not partying and holidays).

What a privilege to witness the boldness of this persecuted minority carrying and following the cross with cries of 'Hosanna!' and 'Hallelujah!'

Make you think?
