Starfish Christian Trust: Street children

Good News from Conakry (08/04)

A few years ago, we received news from our friends in Conakry, Guinea about a young Muslim girl who had been involved in a serious motorbike accident and was in danger of losing her leg. Starfish Christian Trust were moved by this story and arranged to pay for the medical expenses that would save her leg.

The testimony of this in her village of Christian love brought many people to hear the good news of the kingdom of God. It is always good to hear further from time to time and I have received details from Nicolas in Conakry who writes as follows:

"We met with Kankou and her mother last week; she was smiling, standing without clutches, walking, limping a bit (she has 1/3rd of her calf missing) but without clutches there again. Thank you for your help and for to Starfish who have definitely taken someone out of the slavery of misery."

Thanks to the continued support of many, Starfish continues to help one life, one family, one community at a time. It is the Starfish principle!
